01 About the app

ACTinEITFood is a joint project of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and EIT Food. EIT Food is the EU initiative that aims to make the food system healthier, more sustainable, more transparent and thus future-proof.

The goal of ACTinEITFood is clear: to build an inclusive and innovative community to primarily support the creation and growth of agri-food startups.

The goal of ACTinEITFood is clear: to build an inclusive and innovative community, primarily to foster the creation and growth of startups in the agri-food industry. This requires - unsurprisingly - the establishment of a corresponding digital presence.

03 Practice the solution

A PWA (Progressive Web App) was created. This enables the customer, who works with many diverse and different project teams throughout Europe, to keep project pages up-to-date in a simple and decentralized way without violating the strong CI (corporate identity) of the company.

This involved setting up numerous mechanisms to define and restrict uploads, text, image formats, and more so that each individual project page would still look like part of the big picture. Craft CMS was used and tailored to create this solution.

Thanks to the use of the latest technological solutions from appleute, ACtinEITFood is on the digital fast track.
