TOGGL to Monday API Integration

This is how it all began

Originally we used monday.com | A new way of working to handle our development work in a simple but efficient way.
Everyone was very happy with it because it didn't create a lot of overhead and it allowed us to structure each project very easily.

Our biggest concern at the time was that we never really knew how much time we were actually spending per project, and therefore ended up billing our clients incorrect amounts (generally not in our favor).
To avoid this lost revenue, we started using toggl to keep track of it quickly. But since it wasn't directly integrated, we spent a lot of time per developer using toggl and then posting to monday.com

During integration

We needed direct integration so that these tiny time spans per developer didn't add back up to significant costs.

That's why we started the integration, so that the time tracking tasks from toggl can be started with one click on the project in monday.com | A new way of working itself.

Last words...

We did that in 2020 - when monday.com | A new way of working was not yet the global player it is today.
Unfortunately, we could not resell this solution and monday.com | A new way of working soon came with its own integration via Zapier and later with a direct integration.
