PUMA

ACT IN EITFOOD
ACTinEITFood is a joint project of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and EIT Food. EIT Food is the EU initiative that aims to make the food system healthier, more sustainable, more transparent and thus future-proof.
The goal of ACTinEITFood is clear: to build an inclusive and innovative community to primarily support the creation and growth of agri-food startups.
BETRA
With Betra, you can offer your customers an automated, personalized and efficient shopping experience.
The AI camera technology recognizes when a product is picked up and adds it to the customer's digital shopping cart. As soon as the customer leaves the store, a digital receipt is issued immediately. He doesn't need cash or a card, and the trip leaves no environmental footprint.

TOGGL to Monday API
Originally we used monday.com | A new way of working to handle our development work in a simple but efficient way.
Everyone was very happy with it because it didn't create a lot of overhead and it allowed us to structure each project very easily.
Our biggest concern at the time was that we never really knew how much time we were actually spending per project, and therefore ended up billing our clients incorrect amounts (generally not in our favor).
To avoid this lost revenue, we started using toggl to keep track of it quickly. But since it wasn't directly integrated, we spent a lot of time per developer using toggl and then posting to monday.com
BEEFREE
The BeeFree app is the app for the residents of the BeeFree apartment complex to stay in touch with each other. In doing so, the app offers the possibility of a swap meet, where items can be offered and found like in ebay classifieds. In addition, the app serves as a communication tool for the property management to inform about the latest news, events, or problems. A shared calendar helps the student community to short-circuit with each other, plan events or participate in them.
The complex will have about 60 apartments and will be opened soon. Therefore, our priority was to develop a well-functioning and good-looking mobile app as soon as possible.

Vytal Speed-up API
To keep track of orders and dishes sent to customers, the kitchen used the Vytal app to scan boxes via QR codes. The app was developed for use in a restaurant/café to sell a few boxes, scan them, or accept them back. The use case in our customer's kitchen extended this to about 500-1000 boxes per hour.
The challenge here was the speed of the app, because it is designed to handle 2-3 boxes at a time, as described, and not 500-1000 per hour. In addition, the QR code scanner supported by the vytal app occasionally caused the app to crash, which delayed the entire process.
BAYSICS
BAYSICS brings together citizens, students and scientists of all ages in Bavaria to research the effects of climate change on plants and animals. The platform makes it possible to collect and analyze scientific data on the environment and makes climate research accessible to everyone. A user-friendly app that connects science and community.
Heyfam
The Heyfam app is designed to bring people closer together and provides a digital space to store and manage contacts according to their relationship. The app makes it easy to set up call reminders, organize events, and even offers gift suggestions for different occasions.
The app has an interactive interface where users can set reminders for important dates like birthdays, anniversaries, etc. It offers the convenience of searching and selecting the perfect gifts for loved ones. The mobile app is complemented by a web interface, which is primarily used to search for gifts.
Easypostlab
EASYPOSTLAB was developed to support companies in optimizing their social media presence. With just one click, posts can be scheduled and published automatically - simply and effectively. Thanks to a personalized dashboard, companies can keep track of follower numbers, reach and scheduled posts, allowing them to concentrate fully on the content. In addition, Easypostlab offers a flexible authorization system for team members and clear to-do management to make collaboration smooth and secure.
May
May, a technology-driven company specializing in road maintenance, wanted to develop an advanced image classification agent to detect road damage and provide product recommendations for quick fixes, minimizing the need for on-site experts. The aim was to reduce repair times and overall costs. In addition, May wanted to improve internal workflows through automated tools for software development, project management and tender creation.
This case study looks at the development of the road damage detection system using machine learning (ML) and how May has optimized internal processes with automated tools and significantly increased efficiency.
Art school Atrium in Berlin
For the Atrium art school in Berlin, we have developed a booking system that takes scheduling and administration to a new level. With functions for course management and reporting, the platform optimizes everyday school life and allows teachers and administrators to focus on the essentials: the creative education of the students.
QuiX Quantum
For QuiX Quantum, we have developed a planning and analysis tool that makes managing complex quantum computing jobs simple and efficient. In addition to the main function for creating, uploading and analyzing jobs, an interactive "Playground" option enables playful exploration of the quantum computer - users can try out scenarios and directly experience how their inputs influence the quantum computer.
