Every web application consists of two pages, the frontend and the backend. While the frontend focuses on the client side, the backend takes control of the server side of a website. It ensures that the application runs in real time.

As the name suggests, the backend is not visible to the user. It connects the front end of an application with the database and the server. The backend is the layer that creates the application's logic and controls the database. Backend development involves creating the basic codes needed to run an application. When a user enters a request in the frontend, it is forwarded to the backend of the application. The server receives the request, stores it in the database, and sends the response back to the frontend via the server. In short, the backend is the nervous system of any web application.
