In-app Purchase

< 1 min read

In-app purchase" refers to a feature of a mobile application that allows customers to purchase products within the application itself. For example, the in-app purchase system may allow users to purchase virtual currency within a game. It may also allow users to purchase additional features or upgrades within an app.

In-app purchases are a way to generate recurring revenue through mobile apps. The purpose of in-app purchases is to sell additional content and/or services within a mobile app. You can use in-app purchases as a method to bring customers back to your app again and again if they like your product. This is a win-win for both sides and provides a new revenue stream for developers.

There are two types of in-app purchases: Consumables and non-consumables. Consumables include items like coins, virtual currency, or premium content. Non-consumables include content such as additional levels, music, or new apps.

For in-app purchases, payments can be made by debit or credit card directly in the app. These transactions are processed through third-party payment gateways such as PayPal, Skrill, and Google Wallet.
