Mock-up

A mockup is something that is not complete or does not work. It is also called an alpha or prototype and can be used as a sample or model. In design or development, a mockup is an early stage in the development process of a website or application. It allows designers to quickly create a layout of the page or application they are designing.

When creating the mockup, you need to think about how you want the application to work. If it's a simple application, you can use wireframes and clickable images to describe what you want to create. You should also think about the design elements you want to include in your application. These elements should be easy to understand and distinguish.

A designer starts with a basic concept for the website or application to be created. Then he or she creates a design that looks like what he or she envisions the final design to look like. While the designer is doing this, the person implementing the web page or application in a computer program makes changes to the page or application, such as adding text to the page or making the text larger or smaller.
